Description

Mussorgsky based his musical material on drawings and watercolours by Victor Hartmann, produced during the artist’s travels abroad to Poland, France, Italy and the Ukraine. The show has three segments: 1. Promenade and Babi Yaga, 2. Old Castle / Ballet of Unhatched Chicks, and 3. Dispute d’Enfants/Great Gate of Kiev. This is a highly effective yet playable marching band version of a great classic. As stated by one band director “this show is a true crowd pleaser!”
